Evaluating Projects - Online

Learning through projects enables the integration of various types of knowledge and the development of essential global skills in the contemporary world. Project development leads students and students to learn in a much more meaningful, motivating and personalized way.  Assessments of this learning cannot occur only at the end, focusing only on the product. They need to happen throughout all stages of the process, involve not only the teacher or professor and be rigorous in order to lead the student to do his best. In fact, we can talk about evaluations through projects, because learning and evaluation cannot be dissociated. How to do this? What types of instruments can we use? Isabela Villas Boas With 34 years of experience, Isabela Villas Boas has a Master's in Teaching English as a Second Language from Arizona State University and a PhD in Education from the University of Brasília. Prior to that, she was Corporate Academic Manager at Casa Thomas Jefferson, Brasília, where she worked for 34 years. His topics of interest are teaching writing, continuing education, leadership and assessment. She has presented at numerous academic events and published articles in journals and book chapters. His most recent book is Getting Into ELT Assessment, with Vinícius Nobre. She supervises distance master's theses at the University of Birmingham.
